How Positiv helped launch the Modern Manufacturing Expo

The Goal
To market the Modern Manufacturing Expo as a first-time event to manufacturers around Australia.
To encourage participation from exhibitors and visitors. To showcase speakers and special events at the expo and fulfil PR and content requirements which were part of the sponsor agreements with key stakeholders.
Our Solution
A complete PR, social media and digital marketing strategy was created to cover all the requirements of this campaign – secure exhibitors, keep sponsors happy and give them maximum brand exposure, and get visitor feet through the door.
The Results
Rather than an exhibition, the event was positioned as an educational event where companies interested in advanced manufacturing could find all the information they needed during the 2-day event.
Information on technology, R&D, government incentives, funding and even the software systems required to make an Industry 4.0 implementation possible – were all covered.
As this was a first-time event, we knew we could not compete with more established events and therefore the niche was carved:
An intimate event where you can ask anything, find the help you need and get on the road to advanced manufacturing.
